Tiner Foundation Update
(2007 Mark Tiner Memorial Recipients) The Mark P. Tiner Education Foundation, a fund of The Orange County Community Foundation, CA 501 (C) 3, received over 60 applications for the second annual Tiner Financial Needs Scholarship . Applications from Santa Ana to Irvine to Laguna Niguel were received (the recipient will be announced in a few months) . The scholarship is open to all graduating high school seniors in Orange County, CA who demonstrate financial needs. Last year the foundation awarded a $750 scholarship to a female graduating senior from Aliso Niguel High School. This year the scholarship has increased to $1,000.
