Tranquility Found

(Yellowstone Valley (C) Tiner.)

This image is particularly fascinating to me, because it captures the aesthetic qualities of Yellow Stone Valley juxtaposed with natural wildlife. The image was taken with a fish-eye lens which gives the photograph its unique perspective.

In 2006, after graduating from Brown University, I took a cross-country road trip with a close friend. We stopped at several locations along the way, including Niagara Falls, Mt. Rushmore, Deadwood, Yellowstone Valley and Las Vegas. It was a very enjoyable way to let go after four years on the East Coast and make a leisurely return to Southern California.
