Coming Soon: Newport Coast Community Center Permanent Display

Image
(Artist Rendering of The Newport Coast Community Center, photo courtesy of The City of Newport Beach , CA) (Beaches House, Crystal Cove, CA (C) Tiner /Epic Arts LLC) (Pacific Ocean Sunrise, Southern California, CA (C) Tiner /Epic Arts LLC) Today, I'm excited that The City of Newport Beach approved my proposal to purchase artwork for the Newport Coast Community Center. They approved both phases of my proposal, including the Pacific Ocean Sunrise (image above) which will be created on three large panels, each measuring approximately 2.5 x 5ft. It will be the largest piece that I have created to date. The iconic artwork will be reflective of Crystal Cove's nostalgic beach community. The artwork will be created and installed in the next couple of months. I look forward to sharing the images of the installation, when it is complete. The Newport Coast Community Center is located at: 6401 San Joaquin Hills Road Newport Coast, CA 92657

(Beach Cross-Training, toeing boulders through the sand (C) Tiner). (Beach Cross-Training, toeing boulders through the sand (C) Tiner). My friends and I enjoy cross-training at the beach to break up the traditional routine of the gym. From toeing boulders through the sand, running with rocks in the shore break to incline push ups, there is never a dull moment in our program. I'm excited that it has fully rehabilitated my shoulder that I injured playing water polo during my sophomore year at Brown after a summer of competing in Australia and Hungary. Now, I'm free to enjoy a range of sports from tennis to basketball to swimming.
