The evolution of art has always been driven by creativity, innovation, and new tools. Recently, I experimented with using AI to generate various renderings inspired by Casey Parlette 's hermit crab sculpture. Casey’s work has always been about blending nature and imagination. So, using AI to expand on that creativity felt like a fitting tribute. With AI rendering tools, I was able to create different interpretations of his hermit crab sculpture, each with its own unique style and texture. Excited to complete Harvard Business School Online 's AI Essentials for Business this quarter—an insightful course I tackled in my free time. As AI continues to transform the business landscape, the course emphasized how organizations need to evolve from siloed structures and fragmented data sets to AI-mature platforms powered by democratized, data-driven innovation. Key takeaways: ✅ Strategy – Have a top-down vision that aligns AI initiatives with core business goals. ✅ Governance – Integrate portfolio planning with a clear information strategy. ✅ Architecture & Culture – Develop systems that maximize reuse and support teams committed to innovation, collaboration, and shared processes. Looking forward to applying these principles to drive impact and scalability in digital marketing and beyond.
As Laguna Beach continues to enhance its wildfire prevention and safety measures, it's essential to address the lingering fire hazards posed by remaining telephone poles. I recently organized a meeting with Laguna Beach’s City Manager , Dave Kiff, Mayor Alex Rounaghi, and Fire Chief King to discuss how our community can further mitigate these risks, especially in light of the devastating Palisades Fire. Laguna Beach is actively updating its comprehensive wildfire plan, prioritizing both prevention and evacuation readiness. This ongoing effort involves a proactive approach to identifying vulnerable areas, reducing fire hazards, and ensuring our community is prepared should disaster strike. I want to express my sincere appreciation to the City of Laguna Beach for its continued commitment to safety and its proactive approach to wildfire preparedness. By working together, we can make our beautiful community safer for everyone.
