Bad Dog - Orange County Museum of Art - Richard Jackson Sculpture

In a brilliant marketing move, the Orange County Museum of Art unleashed Richard Jackson's "Bad Dog" sculpture this week. The 28-foot temporary exhibit is an absolute attention-grabber, as Jackson depicted man's best friend urinating on the side of the museum.

Jackson's gigantic artwork is reminiscent to Banksy's 2011 Beverly Hills graffiti street art, which also depicted a dog micturating on the side of a building. However, Jackson's artwork provides more engagement as viewers can view the sculpture from various perspectives and even walk under it.

As the Los Angeles art market often grabs most of the headlines in Southern California, Jackson's "Bad Dog" will help raise attention, eyebrows and hopefully not too many more legs.
