Belpointe Opportunity Zone REIT

As we finish 2020 and complete any year-end tax planning, consider opportunity zones as a way to defer any short or long-term realized gains for 6 years and benefit from tax-free appreciation growth, if held for 10+ years. One opportunity zone to explore is Belpointe REIT, which is publicly traded and doesn't require investment minimums. To learn more, visit:  https://belpointereit.com /.

City of Laguna Beach Art Palette

Image
In my free time, I enjoy testing and experimenting with various marketing campaigns and media. A few years ago, I created this public art piece for the City of Laguna Beach. It's an annual tradition to find its location each year. This year, I was excited to share the experience with my daughter. 🎨🖌️

G-R-O-W-I-N-G Digital Advertising

The article below is from a recent Wall Street Journal cover. I’m surprised that digital advertising only accounts for an estimated 51% of the total advertising market share. What other media allows you to target, retarget, measure, engage, adjust and quickly scale based on campaign performance? From my viewpoint, every brand should be aiming for at least 75-90% marketing spend on digital platforms with a full campaign performance breakdown by channel, source and KPI.

Crestview Candles

Image
My wife and I started making handmade candles during quarantine. Our fun activity turned into a mini marketing experiment to test organic social media posts featuring these candles across Nextdoor, Instagram and Facebook Groups. Flash forward to today and we’ve had the most success with Nextdoor and building a dedicated Instagram page. As a marketer, it’s important to constantly test mini experiments to quickly learn what gains traction and apply these tactical insights into larger projects. If you’re interested into these hand poured creations, they’re available on Amazon's homemade store.  🕯️🌊 Link to buy:  https://amzn.to/2HSR2Vf

OC Bar Foundation Scholarship Presentation

Image
Honored to present a scholarship to Project Youth OCBF! 🧑‍🎓 👨🏻‍🎓 Project Youth empowers the next generation and provides high school and college mentoring programs to at-risk and low-income students in Orange County. 📚  This scholarship is given in memory of my brother, Mark Tiner who passed away in 2004. The funds are generously donated from family, friends and partners over the years. 🙏  Moving forward, we will continue to give a financial needs scholarship to a student at Laguna Beach High School.
