Victorville Airplane Graveyard Visit



Airplane graveyards are interesting cultural landmarks. In some ways, it’s difficult to imagine that new planes costing over $350 million dollars, can eventually be left in the dessert. In other ways, the remote landscape juxtaposed against modern machinery, creates a unique photography opportunity.


This particular graveyard is near the Southern Logistics Airport in Victorville, CA.

Recently, I experimented with using AI to generate various renderings inspired by Casey Parlette 's hermit crab sculpture. Casey’s work has always been about blending nature and imagination. With AI rendering tools, I was able to create different interpretations of his hermit crab sculpture, each with its own unique style and texture.
